Burger Bomb
Instructions

1. Preheat

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with non-stick foil or parchment paper.

* I prefer to use a large muffin tin for mine; however, that does involve degreasing them on a lined sheet with paper towels afterward. It can get a little messy in the tin, however, if the bomb bursts, the cheese will stay with that meatball in its slot.

2. Season the Beef

In a bowl, mix together:

  • Ground beef

  • Seasoned salt, pepper

  • Garlic powder, onion powder

  • BBQ and Ranch

  • If you choose to chop jalapeƱos, mix them in now

Mix until just combined (don’t overwork it).

3. Form the Bombs

  • Divide the beef into 8 equal portions.

  • Flatten each portion into a small patty.

  • Place a cube of cheese (and any optional fillings) in the center.

  • Wrap the beef around the cheese and roll into a ball, sealing well.

4. Wrap with Bacon

  • Wrap each beef ball with 1 strip of bacon.

  • Secure with a toothpick if needed.

5. Bake

  • Place on the baking sheet seam-side down.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and beef is cooked through.

6. Optional Finish

For extra crispy bacon:

  • Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end (watch closely so it doesn’t burn).

Serving Ideas

Serve with:

  • Lettuce and tomato on the side

  • Slider buns for mini sandwiches
